Why are we limited to starting work early in the morning, and getting off late in the afternoon? The result is congestion on the roads, a stressful start to the day, and lower than optimal productivity. Is a more flexible approach to our work times a possibility?
Can flexibility prove to be a win-win scenario and outcome?
Por que pessoas-B despertam às 5h30m?
Societal inflexibility dictates work primarily from early morning until late afternoon. This outmoded habit of scheduling produces health issues for B-persons, as they may tend to consume more invigorating stimuli like coffee and sugar than A-persons, in an attempt to cope with dictated work hours not in alignment with their biological needs.
The B-Society is working on getting schools to offer differentiated hours, which can support the various circadian rhythms of pupils and students. Just imagine being able to start school at 9 AM or 10 AM. A change in school hours would result in more pupils and students delivering top performance and would give a better quality of life.
The B-Society is working on creating more flexible workplaces, where the working hours better match the various circadian rhythms of the employees. Give the A-persons early work hours and let them start work at seven in the morning so they can produce their best work. Give the B-persons late work hours and let them start work after ten, and they will create peak performance in their own time.
The B-Society is working towards getting society organised in a way which gives room to all the various circadian rhythms. If you are a B-person, it is particularly important to be aware of how to organise your day. Maybe you can increase your quality of life just by making a few changes in how you organise your day.
